Our name, Araguaney, evokes far-off lands. The araguaney (tabebuia chrysantha) is the tree that symbolizes Venezuela, which bears very attractive yellow flowers. In the Arab world, the term ‘aryuani’ defines a very bright yellow colour. The araguaney is the hotel’s inspiring essence because in one sole denomination it unites Arab colours and luxuriant Latin American vegetation. Araguaney was the name chosen by the founder of the hotel, Ghaleb Jaber Ibrahim, long settled in Compostela, who is of Palestinian origin and has a Venezuelan wife.

In front of the hotel there is a bus stop that can take you to the city centre every twenty minutes or to Lavacolla airport every thirty minutes.
